About Smart Grid

Smart Grid for Schools was developed by ISU's Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology (CeMaST) to engage students in grades K-12 with the Smart Grid technologies being rolled out across the nation. Smart Grid offers a fun, hands-on approach to energy conservation.

This fully-virtualized version of the Smart Home was published in support of e-Learning during the spring of 2020. We hope you learn from this e-Experience, but that you are able to enjoy working with our physical materials as well!

The project is made possible by the Illinois Science and Energy Innovation Foundation (ISEIF).
